The current security camera system at the Henry County Court House is almost 10 years old and is not longer really serving the purpose it was intended for.

This morning the supervisors talked with Security Equipment Incorporated about a new system. The same company recently put in a new camera system for the law center. Because technology has changed so much in the last five years, the current system could not be updated. The new technology is software driven and relies on cat 5 wiring. The SEI representative will submit an estimate.

In other business, the supervisors approved Andrea Cook’s appointment as Deputy Auditor. This will be for the duration of Shelly Barber’s term as auditor. This designation gives Cook the ability to act in Barber’s absence.
