Bill Menner, USDA Rural Development State Director in Iowa, will be in West Burlington, Fort Madison, Keokuk and Morning Sun on Monday, May 2nd and Mt. Pleasant and Fairfield on Tuesday, May 3rd to listen to local community and economic development leaders, as well as the general public, discuss issues and opportunities they encounter in their ongoing efforts to keep rural Iowa vibrant and prosperous.
Listening posts on Monday, May 2nd will include:
9 a.m. at city hall in West Burlington, 112 Broadway Street
11:30 a.m. at Ivy Bake Shoppe in Fort Madison, 622 7th Street. Lunch may be
2 p.m. at city hall in Keokuk, 415 Blondeau Street
5:30 p.m. at Morning Sun Community Center in Morning Sun, 106 North Main
