Evidently someone pulled the plug and the Skunk River at Oakland Mills has quickly dropped. Friends of Conservation began this morning (Wednesday) cleaning up the area around the dam for Saturday’s Jam at the Dam. Originally, the annual event was moved to above the dam near the Nature Center due to high water. But the water level has dropped and the mess left behind isn’t as bad as it might have been. So as of today Jam at the Dam is at the Dam Saturday, June 25 from 4-10 pm. There will be food, beverages and music by Cuzin Eddy. A free will donation will support the projects of Friends of Conservation in Henry County.
