Iowa Department on Aging (IDA) Director Donna Harvey announced that community meetings titled ‘A Conversation on Aging Issues’ will be held in various parts of the state throughout the summer.
“The Iowa Department on Aging is holding community meetings this summer to give older Iowans and their families an opportunity to talk about aging issues most important to them and also discuss the legislative mandate to reduce the number of Area Agencies on Aging,” Director Harvey stated.
The public is invited to attend the following meetings, titled ‘A Conversation on Aging Issues’, which will be held in Mount Pleasant and Ottumwa:
REVISED- new times: July 7 12:30AM – 2:00PM : Mt. Pleasant – City Library at 307 E. Monroe St.
July 7 4:30PM – 6:00PM: Ottumwa – Salvation Army Center, 725 W. Main St.
