The Burns Gallery & Tea Emporium will celebrate it’s “Grand Opening” on August 12th and 13th. Ken and Sue Burns feature art from 50 artists around the country including ten local artists. Each month a special exhibit will feature a single artist’s work. This month is the wildlife art of Brie Anderson from Des Moines. Her “Mother and Child” exhibit captures the relationship in nature and covers such subjects as the wolf, the lynx, the bear, the buffalo, and the dear. Come see her stunning charcoal drawings for yourself.
The Burnses offer loose leaf tea for sale including the black, oolong, green, and white teas. They have also released “Parisian Nights”, their first custom blend.
Custom framing is available onsite with store hours of Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The gallery may be reached by phone at 319-592-3456 and is located on the river at 509 First Street in Bonaparte.
