Branding Not a City Goverment Issue

City branding is a community issue, not a city government issue. That was the opinion of the Mt. Pleasant City Council Public Improvements Committee. The city council has been discussing the city logo with a group that requested a return to using the iris as the logo. The city was once known as the iris city. But after all the discussion the committee decided last night that the city has no branding and will continue to use the light pole symbol on all government documents and stationary. The symbol does not include any wording or slogan.
