In 12 minutes, you could read and respond to a few emails.
You could file some documents.
You could refill your coffee and chat with a coworker.
Or you could help change the culture of Iowa forever.

Join us on October 7 at noon as we participate in the statewide Start Somewhere Walk, which will feature hundreds of simultaneous one-kilometer walks across the state that will kick off Iowa’s Healthiest State Initiative. The walks will also be part of a world-record attempt for the largest simultaneous 1k walk ever. The record currently belongs to Canada with 231,635 walkers.

Mt. Pleasant’s Start Somewhere Walk will begin at the shelter house in Saunders Park on Friday, October 7th between 12 and 1pm and loop around HCHC. Water will be provided courtesy of Hy-Vee.

Sign up online and pledge your support for Henry County! Visit www.iowahealthieststate.com and click TAKE THE PLEDGE. Or, you can register at the shelter house that day.
