New London School Supt. Chuck Reighard has no plans to look for another supt. job. Come July first he will hand over the reins to someone else ending a 6 year commitment to New London school district. Reighard isn’t sure what the future holds. But he is sure it will involve giving more time to a family that sometimes took back seat to a 39 year career in education. Reighard taught school, coached, served as a principal, an athletic director in addition to 10 total years as a supt.all pretty much in Southeast Iowa. Whatever he does, Reighard anticipates it won’t take him away from here. One son and his family still lives in New London and that was one of the reasons Reighard and his wife Susan chose the community. The veteran educator has mixed feelings about his decision.
