WACO Schools Lock Down

WACO Supt. of Schools Patrick Coen informed KILJ News that WACO Schools were locked down all morning Wednesday following a report a student ran away from home taking a gun with him. The student was found near Riverside and engaged in a stand off with law enforcment officers. He was taken into custody unharmed. Supt. Coen also said the high school principal and a teacher were called to the scene of the stand-off at the students request. Coen confirmed that the student never came to the high school building and the lock down was precautionary.
