Written by on April 30, 2012 in News

The Evening Rotary of Mt. Pleasant is turning 91.  A meeting held tonight at the First Baptist Church will feature a two hour program to honor Mt. Pleasant residents who have served as Rotary exchange student hosts…and members of the Rotary who have been involved for over 25 years.  Todd and Marsha Baldridge will be honored for their humanitarian effort to provide water to people living in underdeveloped nations.  Special guest will be Don Patterson, the current Governor of Rotary District 6000 who will replace Cal Littwiller.  The Evening Rotary will be teaming up with Mt. Pleasant’s Noon Rotary on Thursday, June 7th for the annual Rotary Barbeque, a major fundraiser for both clubs.  Tickets are $8 in advance and are available from club members.
