Mt. Pleasant Junior Varsity football team hosted Centerville last night and won big 48-26.

The MPHS volleyball team is hosting Washington tonight in Southeast Conference play, Panthers are coming off the Burlington Invitational Saturday where they had a 2-2 record/
Other area volleyball: Clinton at Burlington, New London at Notre Dame, Cardinal at West Burlington, Maharishi at Central Lee, Ft. Madison at Fairfield, Harmony at Holy Trinity Catholic, Highland at Winfield Mt. Union, Keokuk at West Hancock, L&M at IMS, Pekin at #1 Mediapolis, Van Buren at Danville, Waco at Columbus Community, Wapello at Lone Tree.
The MPHS cross country teams will be running at Iowa City West the Panthers have not competed since running strong in their own invitational last Tuesday.
Washington High School is also hosting an invitational today.

Monday night football last night saw Seattle score on a 24 yard touchdown pass on the last play of the game to give them a 14-12 win over Green Bay.
