Meeting today is the Mt. Pleasant Board of Adjustment. They will gather at 5 pm in City Hall. Two public hearings will be held. The first is for 505 West Courtland. The home owners have requested a special exception to accessory building height regulations. The second will be for the residence at 1103 East Washington Street. They have requested a front yard special exception to construct a front entry deck at the home. Then at 5:30 the Mt. Pleasant City Council will meet for a work session at City Hall. On their agenda: the Threshers Road and land, office space at the library/civic center, downtown traffic lights, the nuisance ordinance and open burning.
Meeting tomorrow will be the New London School Board. They will convene at 7 pm October 31st in the Board Room in Special Session. They will consider awarding bids to the domestic water project in the Middle School/High School building.
