Judge Danielson President of Iowa Judges Association

District Court Judge Cynthia Danielson of Mt. Pleasant has been elected the president of the Iowa Judges Association for the 2012-2013 year.  The Association’s goal is to unite judges in their work towards sound administration of justice.  Danielson was appointed to the District Court bench in1999.  She previously served for four years as a Magistrate and 12 years as a Hospitalization Referee for Henry County.   Danielson has served on numerous commissions and represented the state at various conferences.  Danielson was born in Fort Madison and earned both her bachelor’s and law degree from the University of Iowa.  As a lawyer she served clients for 23 years in Mt. Pleasant and as a judge she primarily serves Henry, Des Moines, Lee and Louisa Counties.  Danielson said that looks forward to serving and representing the judges of Iowa.
