KILJ, Chamber, Two Rivers Team Up to Sponsor Debates…Live, On Air and On the Web

Need a reason to vote? How about more than one….jobs, healthcare, education, the environment…Voting is your chance to make a difference. Learn more about the issues that affect our county and our state. Plan to attend two forums with local candidates co-sponsored by The Mt. Pleasant Area Chamber Alliance and KILJ Radio. The first forum will be Friday with the three candidates for Iowa Senate District 42. Michael Garmoe, Rich Taylor and Larry Kruse will debate the issues from 11:30 am to 1 pm in the 2nd floor meeting room of the Mt. Pleasant Public Library and Civic Center. KILJ will broadcast the replay of the forum Sunday October 14 following the noon news and Wednesday October 17 following the evening news on KILJ FM courtesy of Two Rivers Bank.
