Looking for a Halloween Activity? There’s lots to choose from….

Halloween is finally here and there are several opportunities for children to get that candy.  The city of Mt. Pleasant will have their Trick or Treating from 5 to 7 pm this evening.  You might want to put a few can good items by your door as well as MPHS’ InterAct Club will be collecting items for the Fellowship Cup.  Sunnybrook Assisted Living’s Ashford Park hosts a Halloween Fun Night from 4:30 to 7 complete with a hot dog dinner.  New London Nursing and Rehab has their annual Children’s Haunted House from 5 to 6:30 in the lobby area.  Crawfordsville American Legion will host a Costume Party in the WACO Elementary Gym starting at 6 pm with refreshments in the lunch room.  HCHC’s Park Place Elder Living will have residents in costumes handing out candy in the dining room from 5 to 7 pm.  Mt. Pleasant Public Library has their second annual Trick or Read Fall Festival from 5 to 7 pm with a goodie bag, sugar cookie decorating, a pumpkin craft, face painting and stories.  The New London Lions have their Halloween Hotdogs in the Park with a costume contest and free hot dogs.  It all starts at 6 pm.  And finally, the Pumpkin Patch Party will be in the E3 Center from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.  It will feature costume judging, games, activities, prizes and of course, candy.  And as always, for a full list of events going on in the area for Halloween go to kilj.com and click on the events tab.
