There’s a new face at ISU Extension and Outreach in Lee and Henry County.  Darbee Wellman joins the offices as an ANR Program Specialist.  Her duties include providing leadership to the Agriculture, Small Farm, Natural Resource and Horticulture Programs for the counties.  Wellman is a 2002 graduate of ISU with a BS degree in Animal Science.  She graduated in 2004 with an MN in Agricultural Education and studies.  She has worked previously as a Youth Program Specialist, an 8th grade biological studies teacher and a field inspector for seed corn production.  Wellman is a native of Bonaparte, having grown up on a 400-acre cattle operation and was a member of Lee County 4-H.  Her home office will serve both counties but will be located in Lee County.
