Weekend Accidents

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office investigated an early morning roll-over accident.  Around 4:30 am they were called to the single vehicle accident approximately one mile south of Mt. Pleasant on Highway 218.  Thomas Stucker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, was driving on the roadway when he drove onto the shoulder.  He tried to correct back onto the roadway but lost control and rolled his vehicle onto the highway, coming to rest on its top.  Minor injuries were reported.

From the Mt. Pleasant Police Log: Saturday around 3:30 pm, a single vehicle accident was reported in the 1600 block of West Clay Street.  Haley Booton of Mt. Pleasant was traveling west when she lost control of her vehicle.  It entered the north ditch where it rolled.  No injuries were reported but the vehicle is considered to be a total loss.
