David Smith of Winfield swerved to miss a deer and ended up rolling his vehicle. Early Saturday morning Smith was southbound on Oasis Avenue just north of Winfield. He lost control when he swerved and the vehicle went broadside into the ditch, rolling two times and coming to rest on its wheels.
