There will be an Open House to give the community an opportunity to come wish former Henry County Sheriff Allen farewell. It will take place on Sunday, November 18, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM in Manning Hall at St. Alphonsus Church. The address is 607 S. Jackson, here in Mt. Pleasant. Wittmer and his wife Blanca are moving to Texas where he has accepted a position with the Marshall Service.
