KILJ Sports November 30th, 2012…

The MP 7th Grade Boys Basketball played at Aldo Leopold last night.
In the A game, Mt Pleasant won 54-13. Paul Rundquist led the Panthers in scoring with 15.
In the B game, it was Mt Pleasant winning 22-11, with Payton Kelly scoring 12.
And in the C game, Mt Pleasant topped Aldo Leopold 20-19, with Keegan Rich leading the Panthers in scoring.

The MP 9th Grade Girls & Boys Basketball teams played at Muscatine Thursday.
The Panther boys fell to Muscatine 53-37. Leading for the Panthers was Joe Hess with 11 points… Darin Hunter and Keegan Pullis each added 7.

The Mt Pleasant Panther wrestlers dominated the mat at Columbus Community in wrestling action last night, topping Columbus with a team score of 63-15.
Winning for the Panthers were Rob Pohren, Michael Alderson, Jayton Phillips, Noah Brown, Justin Dilks, & Colton Aplara. Jacob Dilks & Emmett Wester each won by forfeit… Other Panther winners were Conner Eads, Mitchell Griffin won by decision… Tyler Lanphier won by forfeit… and Alex Lanphier also got a pin for the Panthers.

In boys basketball, the Mt Pleasant Panther Freshmen, JV & Varsity Basketball teams host Fairfield starting at 4:45.
Waco travels to WMU
New London at West Burlington
Mediapolis is at Louisa Muscatine
Farifield Maharshi hosts Holy Trinity
Central Lee is at Danville
Keokuk is at Ft Madison
And it’s Cardinal at Notre Dame

MP Girls Freshmen, JV, and Varsity Basketball at Fairfield at 4:45. KILJ, 105.5FM and will have the Varsity game for you live, with Jeff Broeg on the play-by-play, starting at 7:30 tonight.
