As of 11:15 am, Mt. Pleasant High School students were back in class after being evacuated while authorities and school administrators searched the building for a bomb. Nothing was found. A written threat was discovered in a boys restroom this morning before 9:30 am. At first it was reported the school was locked down and then Supt. Dr. John Roederer said the building was evacuated. The students were allowed back into the gym after the southern section of the building was cleared. During his first report, Dr. Roederer said it was not believed that the report was credible but all precautions were being taken as the building was searched. Local law enforcement blocked the drive to the school, not allowing anyone in or out.
