Written by on December 13, 2012 in News

Bomb threats found in the restrooms at Mt. Pleasant Community High School have forced the administration to put safety precautions in place for Thursday and Friday. Wednesday afternoon the school building doors were locked at 4 pm and no non-school activities were allowed. The entire building has been searched including classrooms and lockers. This morning the doors opened at 7:15. Students entered thru the south doors and all bags, coats and other materials were being searched. The doors will stay locked all day and anyone entering the building will be searched. Classes will be held as normal but students will remain in the classrooms at all times unless supervised by an adult. A five hundred dollar reward is being offered for information leading to the identity of the individual or individuals responsible for the threats.
