Ned “Cotton” Cook

Ned L “Cotton” Cook, 80, of Milton died at 4:18 PM Tuesday Dec 11, 2012 at University Hospital, Iowa City.
He was born March 21, 1932 at Keosauqua to Daniel and Lena Wiley Cook and married Patsy Harl on January 28, 1952. She died Nov 4, 1967.
Cotton worked at Pioneer Hybrid Seed, Hedrick as a fork lift operator until Feb, 2011. He was a member of the Milton Christian Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Bonnie Courtney (Steve) of Bussey, 2 sons Richard Cook (Cindy) of Burlington, and Tim Cook of Arizona, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a brother, Kenny Cook (Beth) of Bloomfield.
In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, 4 sisters Maxine Greenfield, Betty Leydens, Mary Hunter, and Marjorie Bruccini and 4 brothers William, Larry, Junior, and Robert Cook.
Funeral Services 11 AM Sat, Dec 15 2012 in Milton Christian Church, Rev. Bill Shewmaker officiating. Visitation will open at 2 PM Friday at Pedrick Funeral Home Keosauqua, with family present from 5 -7. Burial will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, Milton. Memorials to the Sunnyside Cemetery may be left at the funeral home, Church or mailed to the family at 204 Jackson St. Bussey, Ia 50044
