Ron “Schultze” Schultz

Ronald E. “Schultzee” Schultz, 69 of Mt. Pleasant, formerly of the Brighton Community, died Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.
Visitation will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012 from noon until 7PM at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington, where the family will greet friends from 5-7PM. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, December 14 at the Oregon Township Cemetery in Ainsworth. A general memorial fund has been established.
Ronnie E. Schultz was born May 19, 1943 in Washington, Iowa the son of Howard and Ethyle (Wilson) Schultz. He graduated from Ainsworth High School in 1966. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Koch on April 14, 1968 in Brighton. The couple later divorced.
Ronnie was a member of the Brighton Lions Club and enjoyed playing cards, NASCAR and playing Santa Claus.
Survivors include three daughters, Tammie Schultz of Brighton, Rhonda and husband Barry Clough of Lowden, Stephanie Schultz of Brighton, one grandson, Braydon Clough, two brothers, Barney and wife Rita Schultz of Ainsworth, George and wife Judy Schultz of Ainsworth, Sharon and husband Roger Gillis of Ainsworth, a sister in law, Sally Schultz of Ainsworth, several nieces and nephews and friend, Sandy Wallin of Washington.

Preceding Ronnie in death were his parents and two brothers, Howard and Steve Schultz.
