The undefeated Mt. Pleasant High School wrestling team that is 7-0 in duals, plays host to Ft. Madison and West Hancock, Ill. Tonight. The Panthers are having a very good season, and are coming off a victory at the South Tama Duals last Saturday where they went undefeated. M.P. will wrap up the first half of the season this Saturday with the varsity wrestlers going to Pella High School for a tournament.
OTHER WRESTLING MATCHES: Keokuk at Washington, New London/Winfield Mt. Union and Cardinal at Highland, Waco and Lone tree at Wapello, West Burlington/Notre Dame/Danville and Van Buren wrestle at Pekin, Columbus Community and Mediapolis at L&M.

The IWC women and men play basketball tonight at Culver Stockton in Canton, Mo. The women’s game will play first at 5:30 p.m.

Morningside College of Sioux City, Iowa will be playing in the NAIA football championship tonight in Rome, Georgia against Marian, Indiana. This is the first time in the championship for both schools.
The final pairing is set for the NCAA Division two playoff championship game Saturday in Florence, Alabama. Valdosta St. 11-2 will play Winston-Salem 14-0.
The NCAA division three Championship will be played in Salem, Virginia this Friday when Mt. Union 14-0 will play St. Thomas of Minnesota 14-0.
