Mt. Pleasant scored two wins over Oskaloosa in basketball at Panther Gym during the coaches against cancer games. The MPHS girls handed Osky only their second loss of the season beating them 50-47. Natalie Ita scored 13 points and had 9 rebounds. Mary Wester added 12 points and Kelsi Phipps 11. M.P. is now 5-3 and is scheduled to host West Liberty Tomorrow night.
In the boys game Mt. Pleasant rolled to an easy 59-18 win. Faith Pope scored 15 points and Ryan Hanna had 13. The M.P. defense held Osky to just 6 points in the 1st half. West Liberty is next on the MPHS schedule tomorrow night as part of another girl-boy double header.

Due to lack of practice days prior to playing the first game of the second season, the Mt. Pleasant Middle School has rescheduled the January 10th seventh grade girls basketball games and 8th grade boys basketball games to February 4th. All times remain the same.
