The 2-2 (1-0) Mt. Pleasant Panther boy’s basketball team travels to Keokuk for an early season important matchup. The Chiefs are 2-1 (0-1) on the season and are under pressure to protect their newly remodled home court against the Panthers as they already have suffered a loss to league foe Ft. Madison, another loss this early in the season especially at home would be a big set back in their attempt to win the conference title. On the other hand the M.P. team could really position themselves well in the league race with a win to put them two games up on the Chiefs early in the season.
For Keokuk Jonny Dahl sophomore son of head coach Jeff Dahl is averaging nearly 20 points per game. For MPHS Ryan Hanna is averaging 10 points per game, Faith Pope who just became eligible to play after moving in from Ottumwa played his first game as a Panther Tuesday when Mt.
