Brighton Crash Leaves On Injured

Details have been released regarding a Sunday night accident that led to one person being air-cared.  Around 10:15 that evening, Washington County authorities received a call from OnStar of a one-vehicle accident with injuries north of 2990 Ivy Avenue of Washington.  Upon arrival, authorities determined that a truck had been southbound on Ivy Avenue when it failed to negotiate a curve.  Roadway conditions were listed as icy at the time.  The vehicle entered the east ditch and struck a tree.  The driver, Cody Sobaski of Brighton was arrested and charged with Operating While Intoxicated.  The passenger, Eric Harvey, also of Brighton was transported to the Washington County Hospital and was then air-cared to University of Iowa Hospitals for treatment.  His condition has not been released.  A second passenger did not require treatment.
