The numbers are in and it’s not a good start to 2013 for unemployment rates. Henry County unemployment is up to 6.2% a jump from 5.5% last month. Jefferson County reports 6.5% from 5.8. Van Buren is up to 7.3% from 6% and Washington County is now reporting 4.1% after hitting 3.4% in December. The statewide unemployment rate is holding steady at 4.9%.
