The Mt. Pleasant Police Department reports a two vehicle accident that occurred on Grand Avenue near the entrance of the Mt. Pleasant High School Friday morning around 11:30. Morgan Fraise was attempting to cross Grand Avenue from the High School when she pulled into the path of vehicle driven by Richard Randell, who was travelling southbound. Both vehicles were considered a total loss and three persons were transported to HCHC for treatment.
Then yesterday around 4:15 pm, a one-vehicle accident was reported to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office. Rylee Arbogast of Washington was westbound on 270th Street near Quincy Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle while approaching an intersection. Abrogast then struck a vinyl fence. No one was injured. Arbogast was cited for Failure to Maintain Control of a Vehicle.
