Centerville handed the 9th ranked MPHS boys basketball team their first loss of 2013 and 3rd of the season and a rare loss in Panther gym by a score of 53-51 last night. The Big Red were on top of their game from the beginning while M.P. struggled at both ends of the floor. Centerville led by 8 going into the 4th quarter, but as the final buzzer sounded Mt. Pleasant was taking a shot that could have tied or won the game. The shot did not fall and now the Panthers will go back into the Southeast Conference on the road at Fairfield Friday night.
