MPHS girl’s basketball team scored a conference win at Keokuk Friday night 43-38. 8 players scored for the Panthers led by Taryne Shull and Kelsi Phipps with 10 each and Leslie Taylor added 7.
Keokuk won the JV game 42-26.
MPHS plays at 13th ranked Oskaloosa at 1:30 today, Pella beat Osky last night 56-51. KILJ will NOT be broadcasting today’s game.

Keokuk came to Panther Gymnasium to play MPHS in boys basketball, for the 46th consecutive Southeast Conference game Mt. pleasant came out on top, this time by a score of 50-45. Ryan Hanna scored 16 points and Faith Pope 14.
M.P. plays at Oskaloosa at 3 p.m. today, the Indians lost to Pella last night 64-34.
Keokuk won the Freshman game 47-29, Mt. Pleasant won in overtime in the JV game 60-57.

MPHS wrestlers who rolled to a big dual meet win at home Thursday night over Fairfield wrestle at the Williamsburg round robin tournament today.
The 8-12 IWC men’s basketball team is playing at McMurray today at 1 p.m. followed by the 5-13 IWC women playing at McMurrary.

NFL matchups for the upcoming Sunday of conference championships: San Francisco at Atlanta and Baltimore at New England.

Due to Fairfield’s lack of team members, the 9th grade girls’ basketball game vs. Fairfield that had been rescheduled for Jan. 28th, has been cancelled.
