The Lee County Sheriff’s office announced Tuesday that the woman who was assaulted in her home last week was Keokuk teacher Gina Sisk. Emergency personnel were called to Sisk’s home March 12. She was taken to Keokuk Area Hospital where she was treated and released. The investigation into the assault continues. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Lee County Sheriff’s office. No information was given that might indicate the assault was connected someone with the two lawsuits recently filed against Sisk claiming she sexually abused a former student and New London and one at Keokuk. Sisk is currently on leave from her position with the Keokuk School District.
