Henry Sheriff’s Department Promotions

Henry County Chief Deputy Dan Wesely’s retirement is effective March 30. He will take with hime 40 years of law enforcement experience. Sheriff Rich McNamee has promoted Deputy Tracy Brooks to the position. Brooks has served with the department since 1987.

Sheriff McNamee has also promoted Julie Jennings to the position of Jail Administrator. The department has been without an administrator since September 2011. Jennings began with the sheriff’s office in 2010.

And…Jenna Cargill has assumed the duties of Dispatch Supervisor. Cargill has been employed with Henry County Sheriff’s office since 2007. She will fill a position left vacant since Cathy Lames retired in January of 2010.

McNamee is currently working to fill a vacancy left when Deputy Chris Sywasick resigned. And he would like to build the reserve deputy numbers from four to fifteen.
