Program to feature College annual literary magazine; honor retiring English professor William Weiershauser

Readings from Design, the Iowa Wesleyan College literary magazine, will be held on Thursday, April 4, at 11 a.m. in the Chapel Auditorium. Design includes poetry, prose and artwork contributed by students, staff and community members. It is produced by the Iowa Wesleyan College campus chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honor Society.
The program is open to the public.
The Design reading will be followed immediately by a reception honoring retiring English faculty member William Weiershauser. Weiershauser has been a sponsor for the IWC chapter of Sigma Tau Delta for 20 years. He has been on the IWC faculty for 31 years.

Weiershauser arrived at Iowa Wesleyan in 1982 hired to teach Freshman English and British Literature. He has taught a variety of English courses from World Literature to Theory of Communication to the methods courses for English education majors.

The reception will be held in the Chapel foyer. The public is invited.
