As we reported yesterday, the Iowa Hawkeyes men’s basketball team road win record isn’t good with the majority going in the loss category.  Last night the Hawks played Virginia in Charlottesville.  The Cavaliers were riding high on their home wins, having lost only one game at home the entire season.  When the two met in the NIT tournament game, all the numbers went out the window with the Hawkeyes WINNING 75 to 64.  Devyn Marble scored 24 points, Adam Woodbury provided 10.  This is the first time that the Hawks will advance to the NIT semifinals.  They head to Madison Square Garden and will play Maryland on Tuesday.
