Fairfield Voters Pass Bond Issue

Tuesday, voters in the Fairfield school district, overwhelmingly passed a $10 million bond issue. The general obligation bonds will be used to renovate, remodel and build an addition to the Fairfield High School. Renovations will be made to some classroom areas, specifically the science labs. Some classrooms and the band and chorus areas will be expanded. The wrestling area will be expanded to house two full mats. There will also be new locker room areas adjacent to the gym. The building will be air conditioned and will have a new heating system. Security, accessibility and storage will also be addressed.
