Due to wet fields the Betty Sammons Classic tournament Wesleyan was to host this weekend is canceled.

The MS Boys’ Don Taft Relays scheduled for last night have were postponed, and will be run next Friday, April 19th at 4:30 p.m.
Today’s Middle School Girls’ Panther Relays track meet will start at 11:00 a.m. instead of 10:00 a.m. to give the sun one more hour for warming.
Mt. Pleasant High School has rescheduled the JV/Varsity girls’ tennis meet that was postponed on March 28th. It will be played at Burlington Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 22nd.

The start time for the girl’s track meet at Washington on Thursday, April 18th, has been changed to 4:15 p.m., instead of 5:00 p.m.
The school has added a boys’ tennis meet. Mt. Pleasant will play at Burlington Notre Dame at 4:30 p.m. on April 25th.
Mt. Pleasant will be playing V/JV boys’ soccer at 5:00 p.m. at Danville on May 16th instead of April 23rd. Please note the start time
1st Annual Colors of Cancer 5K Fun Run/Walk….a fundraiser hosted by the IWC students first college Relay For Life event.
Sunday, April 14th at East Lake Park. Registration will begin at 1:30 pm at the East Shelter House and the race will begin at 3:00pm. If you didn’t pre-register, the registration fee is $20 and can be paid the day of the race.
The color dust is a food grade powder and is safe for human consumption, but you may want to wear eye protection.
Participants will run or walk through a burst of color along the race course! Please wear white so that at the end of the race you will show an assortment of colors representing the different types of cancer.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society…..your participation can help us create a world with more birthdays.
The IWC Student Relay For Life event will be held on Sunday, April 21st at the IWC campus from 5 – 11pm. Please help support the students in their first Relay For Life. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.
