Lila Joan Dean Claring, 47, of Luray, MO died May 28, 2013 at her mother’s home in Luray, MO
She was born May 16, 1966 in Keosauqua, IA to Edward Dale and Darlene Scearcy Dean and married Keith Claring.
Lila worked the past ten years at Tigerhawk Industries in Keosauqua and previously worked at National Garment Factory in Memphis, MO. She graduated from Wyaconda High School with the class of 1984.
Lila enjoyed spending time with her two children Naykia Claring and Joe Whitehead. She was kind and caring and helped others without question. She also enjoyed time spent with her family and friends and loved the outdoors and even a little fishing once and a while.
She is survived by her 2 children, Naykia Claring and Joe Whitehead of Luray, MO, her mother, Darlene Scearcy Dean of Luray, MO, a sister Kristy Dean of Alaska, a nephew Eddie Smith, brother-in-law, Brad Smith, Mother-in-law, Elsie Claring, along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, a brother, Edward Dean, a sister Marlena Dean, Maternal and paternal grandparents and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services 10:30 A.M., Saturday June 1, 2013 at Pedrick Funeral Home, Keosauqua, Pastor Tom Lemons officiating. Visitation will open at 2 P.M. Friday at the funeral home with family present from 5- 7 P.M. Burial will be in Combs Cemetery, Luray, MO.
