Summer/School Year Internship Possibility at KILJ

Written by on June 6, 2013 in News

Do you know a high school or college student interested in a career in radio?  KILJ Radio might be able to help them start their career.  We currently have an opening, possibly two, for a summer and/or school year student internship and possible employment at the station.  This would prove to be an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience.  Work would include air board, commercial writing, Community Reminders input, on-air, production, news, sports, office work: all aspects of the job.  Training and coaching will be provided.  We need a person with flexible hours, an attention to detail, great work ethic and a willingness to learn.  Good candidates could include speech students, newspaper staff, or anyone interested in the Communications field.  Internship hours are flexible and negotiable but we do need a time commitment.  As we mentioned, this could lead to an employment opportunity.  Interested students are requested to email
