The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports additional felony drug charges being filed on a Keokuk woman.

Amber Skye Kelley, 25, of 126 North 4th, Keokuk, had additional felony drug charges filed on her on June 25th at the South Lee County Courthouse in Keokuk. Kelley is charged with two counts of Delivery of Marijuana Within 1000 Feet of a Public Park, a class D felony with enhancements, Delivery of Marijuana, a class D felony, three counts of a Drug Tax Stamp Violation, a class D felony, three counts of Money Laundering, a Class C felony, and Ongoing Criminal Conduct, a class B felony. If convicted, Kelley faces up to 95 years in a state correctional facility. In addition to that, Kelley is facing up to 15 years and 30 days in a state correctional facility for previously filed drug charges.

The arrest of Kelley stems from an investigation into allegations that Kelley was involved in the use and distribution of illegal narcotics in the Keokuk area. A search warrant was served at 126 North 4th and Kelley’s business, Great Glam Clothing Boutique, at 404 Main Street in Keokuk. Items that support the charges were discovered at both addresses.

The Lee County Attorney’s Office, Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Keokuk Police Department, Iowa State Penitentiary K9 Unit, and the Tactical Response Unit comprised of Officers from both the Keokuk and Fort Madison Police Departments assisted the Lee County Narcotics Task Force in this investigation.

The defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the funds administered by the Iowa Governor’s Office of Drug Control Policy.
