Dr. Joseph Tansey joins HCHC
MT. PLEASANT – Henry County Health Center is pleased to announce that Joseph Tansey, M.D., Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, will join HCHC’s Medical Staff in August.
Dr. Tansey received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology/History from Loyola University Chicago, and earned his medical degree from Loyola Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Illinois. Dr. Tansey fulfilled his residency and was chief resident for a year in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Illinois-Chicago Hospital. He completed a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Dr. Tansey is a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon and has been in private practice in the Chicago area since 2006. He holds several professional memberships which include membership in the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
