Martha Mae Wolfe Glaha, 73 of Keosauqua died at 4:30 P.M. Thursday Sept. 5 2013 at the home of her daughter Kimberly Maserang in Bonaparte.
She was born Dec. 1, 1939 in Mt. Sterling to Leonard Kerle and Dorotha Evans Wolfe, and had been married to Harold Thomas Glaha.
Martha graduated from Van Buren High School in May 1957. She retired from Alaniz LLC in Mt Pleasant. Throughout her many career choices the ones she loved the most were working at AJ’s Bar and Grill, Mt. Sterling and being on the baseball field.
Surviving are her seven children, Kimberly Maserang (Tom) of Bonaparte, Ted Glaha (Lisa) of La Belle, MO, Bill Glaha (Virginia) of Englewood, CO, Kevin Glaha (Cathy) of Mt. Pleasant, Trisha Glaha (Spring) of Burlington, Tracey Blanchard of Fort Madison, Mark Glaha of New London, 18 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and dogs Tiny, Peino and Hope. She had many friends that were just like family and touched many lives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers Dean and Billy Wolfe.
