Game two of the 2013 season is tonight when the Panthers play host to a talented Class 4A Ottumwa Bulldog team. Last week M.P. opened the season at Marion losing 40-0. Generating offense was a problem for coach Shawn Striegels team last week and Ottumwa is going to be tough to move the ball against as they allowed just 3 points and 174 yards of offense in a 33-3 win over Keokuk. That’s the same score in the meeting between Ottumwa and Mt. Pleasant last year with the Bulldogs winning on their home field.
KILJ will broadcast tonight’s game beginning at 6:30 tonight with the pregame show.
