Written by on October 22, 2013 in News

Bring your whole family to the Healthy Halloween Walk at East Lake Park on Saturday, October 27th from 2-5pm for fun and games while exploring part of Mt. Pleasant’s recreational trail. Activity stations will be located along the trail going around the lake (less than one mile). Enjoy games, face painting, fun health and fitness booths, Halloween safety activities, healthy snacks and other fall activities for kids of all ages. Boy Scout Troop 27 will once again have a haunted tent for the older kids. Park and enter at the softball diamonds off Iris Street. Wear your costume if you want and bring your camera.
“This event is another opportunity for families to enjoy time together being active and having fun while learning about health and safety,” states Kelly Carr, Healthy Henry County Communities Coordinator. In case of rain the event will be held on November 3rd. For more information call Kelly at 319-385-6523 or carrk@hchc.org.
