Alex Souder

Alex Eugene Souder, age 48, died Friday, October 25, 2013. He was born November 19, 1964 in McPherson, KS to Gerald D. Sr. and Connie Y. (McAfee) Souder. Alex graduated high school from Mt. Pleasant, IA and college from Kirkwood College. He worked for the Iowa Department of Transportation as a bridge and soil inspector, and then became an acquisition agent. From there he went on to work for Universal Field Services Inc. as a project manager. He was the current Executive Vice President and Principal of the Pinnacle Consulting Management Group. Alex had an incredible sense of humor, infectious smile and was fun loving. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, and hunting. He was a loyal Minnesota Vikings, devoted Iowa Hawkeyes and a faithful Cincinnati Reds fan. Alex believed that life was all about the relationships a person develops, nurtures, and maintains forever. He was a caring, loyal, loving, and hilarious friend to many people. His true love and passion was that for his wife Julie and their son Avery. They thrived as a close-knit, tight team. He was loved by all and will be truly missed. He was survived by his wife Julie Anna (Steinfeldt) and son Avery Charles Souder. His parents Gary and Connie and by one brother Gerald Duane Souder Jr. and sister Kimberly Dawn Peebles. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm November 1, 2013 at The Bridge Assembly of God Church, Mustang, Oklahoma.
