The 2013 football season for the Mt. Pleasant high School football team is over and it was a record setting year, they went winless 0-9. The first time that has happened.  Williamsburg defeated M.P. 51-6 on Evans Field Friday night.  The Panthers only points were put up by the defense when Carson Remick recovered a fumble and sprinted 46 yards for a score.  Once again offensive production was a problem as Mt. Pleasant rushed for just 21 yards and passed for 83.

Williamsburg won the JV game Thursday night 47-0.

Mt. Pleasant won the freshman game 30-16, Pat Canby kicked a 25 yard field goal and ran for another score.  Dshondric Foster caught two touchdown passes from Brock Wilson and ran for another.  Both Canby and Foster rushed for over 160 yards on the night.  Thad Williams and Zach Ebling led the defense, Levi Parkevich picked off an interception.  The freshmen end their season 7-2, so better times are ahead for Panther football.
