HCHC offers free community program at Rec Center
‘Occupational Therapy and Adaptive Equipment’

MT. PLEASANT – Henry County Health Center and the Mt. Pleasant Rec Center are offering a free community program on Thursday, November 21, from 9:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m. at the Rec Center. Valerie Felland, Occupational Therapist at HCHC, will present information about different types of adaptive devices and how they can assist individuals in gaining more independence and function in daily life. The public is invited to attend the presentation; you need not be a Rec Center member to attend.

This is one program in a series of educational sessions that will be offered each month by HCHC at the Rec Center. HCHC is partnering with the Mt. Pleasant Rec Center to offer educational programs to enhance the health of individuals and our communities. For more information, call HCHC Rehabilitation Services at 319-385-6102.
