The Burlington School Board will vote to approve the contract offered to Patrick Coen as superintendent of that district. Friday night the board made the decision to offer the job to the Winfield Mt. Union superintendent who grew up in Burlington and graduated from Mt. Pleasant. He served as a teacher and administrator in the Mt. Pleasant district as well as serving in the National Guard and went on to work for the WMU district for five years. That included time spent as the WACO superintendent. Burlington offered Coen a three year contract with a $185,000 salary and benefits package.
