Former Iowa Hawkeye football player Epenesa Epenesa never dreamed that his son would have the opportunity to follow in his footsteps and play football for the University of Iowa. He can now start dreaming of his son playing football for the Hawks as Iowa has offered his son A.J. Epenesa who is a high school sophomore in Edwardsville, Illinois a opportunity to play in Iowa City. Epenesa Epenesa played two years for Iowa Wesleyan College and then completed his career playing for the U of I at defensive end. The 6’4” sophomore defensive end has been drawing attention and other offers from major football schools around the country, but right now a couple of years away from signing day the Hawks have the inside track on a very good player.
